Many famous personalities in Pakistan and around the world shared their stance on social media regarding the revoking of Article 370 and the muzzling of Kashmiri voices.

Article 370 was abolished on 5th August and it takes away the special status Kashmir held for seven decades.

Priyanka is the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Goodwill Ambassador and has received the Mother Teresa Memorial Award for Social Justice for her contribution towards social causes.

But she had nothing to say about the human rights violations in Kashmir.

It is worth pointing out that she came under fire in February 2019 for cheering for war against Pakistan after Pulwama attack. Many people on Twitter started petitioning for her removal as UNICEF’s ambassador.

Farhan is a United Nations (UN) Goodwill Ambassador for women rights and is often seen as a loud voice for human rights in India.

However, the director/actor so far has nothing to say about the human rights abuses on the Indian side of Kashmir.
