Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) it seems has made up its mind on handing over vacant key positions to some of the most respected former Pakistani cricketers. So, here is a look at who they are and what role are they likely to play in Pakistan cricket during the next season.

Head Coach

Misbah-ul-Haq is almost certain to be appointed as the next head coach. The former captain has already been appointed as the camp commandant. PCB nevertheless, might give him a series or two on adhoc basis to assess his performance before making a final decision.

Chief Selector

PCB had initially decided to appoint the same person for the important positions of head coach and chief selector.
