However, he can still keep his place in the playing eleven but for that to happen he will have to show form with the gloves as well as with the bat during the game.

Fakhar Zaman too has had an ordinary tournament. While enjoying Mickey Arthur’s support the left-arm opening batsman has had an extended run at ODI level despite a string of poor performances. However, a failed world cup campaign is likely to result in Mickey’s dismissal. Therefore, Fakhar has no other choice but to perform today in order to remain an automatic choice for Pakistan’s future tours.
