Hasan Ali
Hasan Ali is likely to replace the injured Wahab Riaz. The right-arm fast medium has had a poor tournament. Therefore, he has to perform today if he plays or else he is likely to be shown the door whenever Pakistan play their next ODI this year.
Fakhar Zaman
Fakhar Zaman too has had an ordinary tournament. While enjoying Mickey Arthur’s support the left-arm opening batsman has had an extended run at ODI level despite a string of poor performances. However, a failed world cup campaign is likely to result in Mickey’s dismissal. Therefore, Fakhar has no other choice but to perform today in order to remain an automatic choice for Pakistan’s future tours.
