Simon Doull And Yasir Shah Praise Babar Azam
Doull while commentating in England termed Babar as the best top-order batsman in the world. While referring to the famous fab-four (Steve Smith, Joe Root, Virat Kohli and Kane Willaimson) he said, “Not many could argue that Babar Azam is the best player in the world at the moment. As far as batting in that top order is concerned, he is unbelievable. Joe Root’s got an argument for that too. They talk about the big four at the moment; he’s the big one.”

Yasir who is making a comeback in national colors on the other hand said, “He [Babar Azam] gives confidence to all the players. Today, when I was bowling in the nets, he advised me to bowl on a consistent line and length, regardless of the fact that the ball is spinning or not. This should help me in getting wickets while also containing runs. So, he supports me all the time.”

While explaining the pressure of making a comeback Yasir further said, “There is no such pressure but I’m excited about making a comeback after one year. I want to perform well and break my record of most wickets in an innings. I have worked on my leg-spin and googly with Mushi [Mushtaq Ahmed] bhai and Saqlain [Mushtaq] bhai. They have vast experience in this field, which was beneficial for me.”
