Pakistani Twitter couldn’t hold back their laughter after listening to Saeed Ajmal who was explaining the science behind ‘doosra’ to Usman Khawaja.
Former cricketer, Ajmal, was undoubtedly one of the best exponents of doosra — a type of delivery by an off-spin bowler that turns the other way. However, his bowling action was scrutinized and he was eventually banned from bowling in 2014 because his arm movement wasn’t compliant with the rules of ICC.
Recently, his bowling action became the talk of the town once again when Australian batsman, Khawaja asked him if it was possible to use the doosra technique in today’s cricket.

Ajmal’s answer to the question erupted the whole Twittersphere.
Saeed Ajmal, who takes pride in his caliber, confidently nodded in affirmation, claiming he can teach young players how to bowl the delivery that is compliant with ICC rules in less than a month.
Here’s what he precisely said,
“I can bowl, I ready the guys like within a month any youngster can bowl doosra within 15 degrees but ICC ban straight away said nobody can bowl, science said, why science fu****g man, what da science, science is the man.”
And, netizens went crazy laughing at the hilarity of his comment, while loving Ajmal for being so genuinely real and straightforward.
Even Shoaib Akhtar couldn’t resist commenting on Ajmal’s ‘best explanation’ of doosra.
“… I love you brother. I’m looking forward to hear the teesra explanation,” he added.
In the wise words of Saeed Ajmal: man can do everything.
Looks like Khawaja learned the tricks a bit too fast.
If you know, you know! 🤭
