Sanam Saeed Is All Praise For DC Islamabad, Hamza Shafqaat For His Support To The “Ishrat Made in China” Team

The cast and crew of Ishrat Made in China have been tested negative for coronavirus. The team including Sanam Saeed, Shamoon Abbasi, Mohib Mirza and Sara Loren had been quarantined in Islamabad.

The team returned back to Pakistan (after being stranded for two weeks in Thailand) via a special flight arranged by the Government of Pakistan.

Ever since they landed in Islamabad, Sanam Saeed actively shared updates and pointed out mismanagement on the part of the authorities.

DC Islamabad took notice of the issues highlighted by Sanam Saeed and contacted the team promptly.

While talking to Dawn, DC Islamabad said that, “For 2000 passengers, Rs. 5000 per passenger was spent on transport, food and rent of the hotel. It amounts to Rs. 1 crore per day.”

Hamza Shafqaat also revealed that under a new SOP, passengers choosing to be quarantined in hotels will pay for all the expenses themselves. While those unable to afford will be moved to a government facility where their food and accommodation will be pro bono.

After all the hassle, the test results of the team came in on Sunday and they all tested negative.

Sanam Saeed took to Twitter to appreciate DC Islamabad, Hamza Shafqaat, and wrote, “Your reputation precedes you.”

The actor also shed light on the issues they had faced and how the authorities helped to resolve them.

The Zindagi Gulzar Hai actor further added that the last obstacle was now to get back to Karachi.
