5 out of 7 PCB’s Board of Governors rejected the appointment of MD, Wasim Khan as well as the idea to abolish departmental cricket in the country while presenting a resolution against it. The resolution however, couldn’t be adopted owing to incomplete quorum.  Ehsan Mani, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board termed the entire development as extremely disappointing and explained that the Board of Governors had changed their stance after favoring the changes in constitution only a few days back.
