People Demand Action As Video Of A Man Pushing & Shoving A Police Constable In Islamabad Goes Viral

A video has gone viral on Twitter, that shows a man pushing and shoving a police constable in Islamabad.

In the video, the constable is seen asking the person to show his driving licence but the agitated man is repeatedly seen refusing the official’s request.

The driver starts abusing the constable as he insists to see his license. The driver doesn’t pay heed to what the constable is asking for and continues to say that he’s with his family and hence should be allowed to leave.

The man then adopts a threatening tone and after pushing, shoving and abusing the constable drives away on Islamabad Highway.

Twitterati are demanding action against this man who misbehaved with the police constable.

People are calling out the driver for being rude to the constable…

… and are demanding his immediate arrest!

Following the viral video, Islamabad Police assured its followers on Twitter that an “FIR has been registered against him” and “action will be taken as per law.”

DC Islamabad, Muhammed Hamza Shafqaat, also confirmed that the authorities were looking into the issue.

UPDATE: As per DC Islamabad, the culprits have been arrested.
