Between 1970 and 2000 Pakistan produced some of the most exciting cricketers the world has ever seen and it is just unfortunate that there was no T20 cricket back then.

Here is a list of top 11 cricketers from Pakistan who never got to play T20 cricket but would have surely excelled had the format been in place during their playing days.

Saeed Anwar is arguably the best opener Pakistan has ever produced as far as limited over cricket goes. There is no doubt that the hard hitting batsman would have seen great success had there been T20 cricket during his time.

2. Aamir Sohail

Saeed Anwar and Aamir Sohail are amongst the best opening partners that Pakistan has produced and hence, there is no way Aamir could have been left out if T20 was alive during the 1990s.

3. Zaheer Abbass

No Pakistani playing eleven is complete without Miandad batting at four. The man needs no introduction and hence, is at the two down position for all the obvious reasons.

Wasim Raja often faced criticism for being far too aggressive. The man however, was well ahead of his time and would have given a lot of bowlers a run for their money had he been playing T20 cricket back then.

6. Imran Khan (Captain)
