1. The Daily Mail’s coverage for both the royal couples celebrating Christmas privately was diametrically opposite.
For Kate and William they chose a simple reporting style and stated simple facts about their private Christmas celebration. While for Kate and Harry they chose a rather fierce tone stating how it would upset the queen and she “deserves better than this baffling festive absence.”
2. Meghan Markle’s pregnancy articles were scathing as opposed to the pieces that covered Kate Middleton when she was expecting.
Meghan Markle has been very vocal about how challenging it was for her to cope with all the bitter coverage she received during her pregnancy. And the headlines below are the perfect example of the off-centre treatment by the British press.

3. This is how Express made something as insignificant as an avocado to vilify Meghan Markle and that too when she was pregnant.
4. British media didn’t approve of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s business strategy as compared to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s.
5. The absence of The Queen from the christening ceremony of Archie was blown out of proportion when we all know that she had also skipped Prince Louis’ christening earlier.
