Meet Suleman Khan – The Local Hero Who Saved 100 Lives In Quetta During A Savage Avalanche

Earlier this week, a local man from the Kachlak area in Quetta, Suleman Khan, saved the lives of more than a 100 people stuck on snow-jammed roads of the area.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Imran Khan, took to Twitter to appreciate Suleman Khan for showing “great courage and selflessness to help people stranded in the snow.”

The Quetta-Zhob highway was shut down due to severe snowfall in the areas of the Balochistan province that left hundreds of cars being stranded on the road, with women, children, and elderly passengers vulnerable in the harsh weather without adequate food supplies or clothing.

Despite the chilling weather, he continued to rescue several passengers in his own car and also opened his home to them for food and shelter.

Khan proved to be a superhero for people stuck in the snow as he also helped them get fuel, paid out of his own pocket, to people whose cars had broken down on the road in the severe cold.

While talking to Global Space Village, Suleman Khan said:

I did everything for the will of God. I saw that people who were stuck by the avalanche and had I not helped them, they probably wouldn’t have returned alive. I had been trying to help them since 2 pm, however, officials arrived around 12 am.
