Haider Ali Narrates How He Took Shoaib Malik’s Advise To Punish Haris Rauf During PSL 5

Promising upper-order batsman Haider Ali, narrated an incident from PSL 5 during which while making use of veteran Shoaib Malik’s advise he went after fast bowler Haris Rauf. So, here is what the Peshawar Zalmi batsman had to say.

Haris Rauf Sledges Haider Ali

While narrating the incident the 19 year old said, “Shoaib bhai had asked me to keep a lid on the big shots because it was not required during that phase of the game. Soon after that advice, I did not opt for a shot against Haris but he asked me to use the bat in my hands to play shots instead of leaving the ball. He stared at me and acted in an aggressive manner.”

Shoaib Malik’s Advise

While narrating the incident further Haider said, “After that Shoaib bhai came to me again and asked me to smack the ball out of the park no matter where he bowls the next ball and this is exactly what I did.” The right-handed batsman also added that he had asked the 26 year old pacer to “Go fetch the ball” right after he had hit him for six.
