Firdous Jamal became a center of controversy when he passed undignified comments regarding Mahira Khan’s age in Faysal Qureshi’s morning show.
“She is not a good actress and not a heroine. She is old; one doesn’t play a heroine at this age but rather the role of a mother.”

He had to face a lot of backlash for his sexist remark and it led to Momina Duraid saying that her production company, MD Productions would not work with him again in any capacity.

But it seems like Firdous Jamal did not learn anything from his previous blunder. And once again Firdous Jamal has hit at another actor; this time, Imran Ashraf.
What really happened?
Recently, he appeared in a morning show on ARY News. When the host asked him who he considered a good actor, he replied that there wasn’t anyone.
“The thing is all these new actors are actually models. They are all show pieces. They don’t know how to act; they don’t have the wisdom.”

The host then gave example of Imran Ashraf to Firdous Jamal especially, while emphasizing on his character “Bhola.” But he did not have anything good to say about that either.
“Yai jo bhi usne kia hai, yai pretention hai sari, yai spontaneous nae tha… act krna kuch aur hai, behave krna kuch aur hai…usne act kia hai, behave nae kia.. isai pehle yai role kafi actors nai kia hai aur unhon nai behave krkey dekhaya hai…”

Firdous Jamal does not seem to acknowledge Imran Ashraf’s performance and continues to belittle his juniors that look up to him.
