A good book can work wonders for your mental health. Non-readers often think that how is it possible to relax while absorbing more information from a book but that’s not quite the case. Taking some time out to read an insightful book is one of the best ways to relax and no, fashion magazines and khawateen digest don’t count. Get yourself a good self-help book or something along the lines of pleasure reading, curl up into your bed and dwell into it to clear off your head.

I’m not telling you to go full throttle. Having a light exercise session will do just enough for you to keep you sharp and active. If you don’t like to get off your sorry butt, then do some meditation. Find a quite spot and just sit there quietly to relax your mind and soul.

He raised the point that our indoor lifestyle is a major contributor to our health and behavioral problems. Breathing air-conditioned air and working under fluorescent lights week in week out takes a massive toll on your physical and mental health. So on weekends, take some time out to go stroll in the nearby park, let the natural air reset your body so you’re ready to go for it on coming Monday.

While I’m not a big fan of spending my time in front of the laptop, I still find myself cracking up to The Office or Bojack Horseman from time to time. Having a nice cup of tea while watching your favorite series just adds to the whole experience. While binge watching is not recommended, relaxing yourself with a light hearted show is bound to ease up the burden. So Netflix and Chill Baby.
