The government of Pakistan struggles with the decision to extend and implement lockdown as the coronavirus continues to spread in the country.

While citizens of Peshawar continue to gather in large crowds violating the lockdown and risking the spread of the deadly virus.

Two incidents in this regard especially raised a lot of eye brows!

Schools assembled students to hand-over results

Two schools in Peshawar assembled their students to hand them their annual examination results. No SOPs were being followed while students continued to “have fun” outside the school.

Peshawar District Education Officer, Irfan Ali on Monday suspended two headmasters for violating the SOPs and assembling the students at their schools.

While talking to Dawn Mr. Ali said that the education department had directed the headmasters of the government schools to ensure social-distancing while awarding the result cards and books to students.

Engagement ceremony of MPA Fazal Elahi’s nephew

According to a news report by 92 News, PTI’s MPA Fazal Elahi also violated the coronavirus lockdown imposed in the country.

The engagement ceremony of the MPA’s nephew took place despite Article 144 still in place. Around 200 people were gathered to celebrate the occasion!

This is the second time Mr. Fazal disregarded the lockdown. Earlier, he had gathered the public and delivered an address.
