Gladiators Finally Lift The Trophy!
Quetta Gladiators have been a consistent side from the word go. However, unlike the previous editions of PSL, this time around they managed to convince their overseas players to represent them during the games in Pakistan. Hence, it is no surprise that they have finally managed to lift the prestigious trophy that they richly deserved.

Zalmi and United Still A Force To Reckon With!
Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United to their credit have the honor of being former champions of PSL. Both sides did pretty well even during this year’s edition and thus, will remain a force to reckon with when the next season begins.

Sultans Have Work To Do
The new management of Multan Sultans now have an entire year to make key decisions and prepare better. They really need to identify a local coach or a motivator who is able to carry the franchise on the field for them during next year’s event. They also need to see if they really want to stick with Shoaib Malik or would want to have someone else as their skipper.
After all PSL has shown the value of possessing a good captain as Misbah, Sammy and Sarfraz are all amongst the finest leaders of T20 cricket and therefore, it is no surprise that their franchises have done well with them leading the proceedings.

Qalandars and Kings Need To Think Deep
Despite representing the biggest metropolis of Pakistan, Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings are yet to show muscle. Lahore in particular, have a pretty poor record of ending last on the points table in every season and hence, are simply the worst performing side in the history of the tournament.
Both franchises then need to go back to the drawing board and see what changes they need to make with regard to their team’s management and man power.
