First things first! Pakistan needs to win their remaining three games that are scheduled against New Zealand, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. Moreover, they can ill-afford a wash-out and also need to ensure decent margins of victories in order to boost their run-rate that for now is the second worst in the points table. In case, Pakistan wins all its games from here onwards; they end on the points table with 11 points and thus, will need other front-runners to finish their quota of poll games with lesser points.

Not Worry About Australia, New Zealand and India

Mathematically, the green shirts can still topple Australia, New Zealand and India in the race to the semi-finals if results don’t quite go in the favour of the aforesaid sides.
