The whole country, especially the residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi had breathed a sigh of relief when Khadim Rizvi and his followers had finally vacated Islamabad Highway after weeks of holding the twin cities hostage earlier this year. However, like the sequel of a horror movie that no one really enjoyed in the first place, the self-styled “scholar” is back. This time he is hell-bent on creating chaos in Lahore.

Clearly, the residents of Lahore are extremely irked with the stone-pelting, stick-wielding hooligans who clearly have no idea about the strict emphasis laid by Islam on civic responsibility, protection of life and property and of course exemplary manners.

So overwhelming is the unanimous disgust of the Pakistanis with Khadim Rizvi that for once those opposing extremists have out-numbered the troll armies run by radical outfits. People are in no mood to be emotionally blackmailed and are re-claiming Islam (at least in the virtual space) from those who have held our beautiful religion hostage for far too long.

Most citizens took to Twitter to vent their frustration over endless traffic jams caused by the roads that the TLP workers had blocked.
Khadim Rizvi's non bail able arrest warrants are issued and police fails to arrest him. SC should look into this. How can you expect a common man to stand against him who know rizvi will get him and his family killed by making a blasphemy allegation or kuffar fatwa.

Some Pakistanis are also rightfully demanding to know why Khadim Rizvi is not being questioned as a foreign pawn whose sole aim, it seems is to destabilize Pakistan and create hardships for its people.
