The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Maj General Asif Ghafoor said that Kashmir is Pakistan’s jugular vein while addressing a press conference on Kashmir issue at General Headquarters (GHQ).

“I want to give this message to Kashmiris that we stand by you and will continue to do so. It is sad that your independence struggle was presented as terrorism.”

The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that some “YouTube analysts” referring to Najam Sethi and Talat Hussain who host their shows on YouTube, said that Pakistan struck a deal on Kashmir with US which was completely untrue.

When Journalist Saleem Safi asked about the nuclear policy of Pakistan, DG ISPR replied that such issues were not to be discussed during press conferences. “You should have full confidence in your country’s capabilities,” he added.
