Heat Turns Up On Punjab Government After Images Of Salahuddin’s Tortured Body Go Viral

The funny ATM thief, Salahuddin Ayubi whose viral video had Pakistanis in fits of laughter only last week passed away in police custody earlier this week.

While many suspected police brutality as the cause of Salahuddin’s death, the police department was quick to present its defense stating that “no signs of torture” were found on Ayubi’s body.

The doctor in-charge refrained from sharing the condition in which the deceased body had arrived at the hospital.

Contrary to the claims made by the police and the doctor at Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan, images of Salahuddin’s tortured body have gone viral.

The pictures that were taken by Salahuddin’s family prior to his burial, show bruises and marks of torture on virtually every part of his body.

Human Rights activist and lawyer, Jibran Nasir rubbished police claims of “no torture marks.”

Barrister Hassan Niazi also shared multiple images showing the severely bruised and battered body of Salahuddin Ayubi.

These harrowing pictures of Salahuddin’s tortured body have sparked outrage among Pakistanis who want the police officers responsible for this heinous crime to be brought to justice.


There is also growing pressure on the Government of Punjab, particularly Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to take action or resign.

While opposition supporters are demanding vengeance, even PTI supporters seem at a loss of words to defend Buzdar.
