Ali Noor Critical, Family Requests For Prayers

Musician Ali Noor has been admitted to a hospital in Islamabad after suffering from an intense bout of Hepatitis A, which caused acute kidney failure and might have caused liver damage.

Earlier his cousin, Rakae Jamil and later his uncle, Azam Jamil took to Twitter requesting donors.

However, Ali Noor’s brother and band-mate, Ali Hamza issued a statement to The Express Tribune clarifying that as per law only a family member could volunteer for liver transplant and that while they appreciated the love and prayers of their fans, they could not accept donors from outside of their family.

Hamza also shared that while his brother, Ali Noor was critical, his health was showing improvement and there was a possibility that a liver transplant might not be required at all.

The news has spread panic among fans who have been reaching out to the family with prayers since the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
