Pakistan appears well-positioned to perform strongly in the upcoming WTC cycle, especially in their home series. They are expected to have the upper hand against both Sri Lanka and South Africa on familiar pitches. Even against New Zealand, the Green Shirts could perform well—particularly if their spinners continue their impressive form from recent months.

On the road, Pakistan also has a fighting chance against Bangladesh and the West Indies. Both series present opportunities, provided the batting unit delivers consistent performances.

The real test, however, will be the away series in England. Historically, Pakistan has struggled in seaming conditions, and unless their batters overcome these challenges, this could be their most difficult assignment in the cycle.
