We forgot to click a picture of the food. So this is from their Facebook page.

My husband is a typical introvert and a true home buddy. There are two sides to marrying such a person. One with your husband sitting next to you for most part of the day, you as a wife can let go of the fear and rule out the probability of him having an extra-marital affair and two, with your husband not willing to get out of the living room convincing him to do so can be a daunting task to say the least.

It was our second wedding anniversary on the 7th of this month and we had decided to dine out. Still, my husband wanted a last minute change in plan and tried exploring the probability of us ordering some good food and celebrating the event at home! Fortunately, only by looking at my face he realized I wasn’t convinced and without arguing much he accepted my idea of trying out BBQ Bazaar in F-7, Islamabad.

We arrived at the place around 9 in the evening and since some good desi food is what we were after we ordered chicken karai and malai boti with different varieties of naan that they offer there alongside cold drinks.

The over-all environment of the place was pretty decent so sitting there and waiting for the food to be served was not really a problem. It took them around 25 minutes to get the order ready and their malai boti and naans were just fantastic. Chicken karai too wasn’t bad but still, there is room for improvement and may be a need to make it a little more spicy.

Nevertheless, the over-all experience was good and I plan to try some of their other BBQ items the next time I pay a visit to the restaurant. Well! That is when I am able to convince my husband that our living room is not the only place on this planet!
